I am six months old. Half a year. 27 weeks. Life is great. I went to see my doctor and I got a great report. I weigh 18.4 pounds and measure 26.5 inches. I got more of those annoying shots. They hurt. I cried a little, but then I went to sleep. But something more exciting happened at my doctor’s visit. Food! Real food! After months and months of drinking formula only, I finally got permission to start eating fruits and veggies. Sweet potatoes were first on the menu. The first few bites were a little strange. But then I got the hang of eating with a spoon. Now, I am like a pro. I have also tried green beans (not my favorite) and carrots. Next on the list are squash and peas. Then, come the fruits. I hear those are really yummy. I can’t wait. Here are a few shots of my first few bites. I made some really funny faces. I even shed a few tears. You’ll also see me playing my first set of drums and meeting some of my relatives from Puerto Rico. It was a great month.
